NettForge is a zero-knowledge password manager for people and the IT teams who run the network. Everything is sealed on your device with your master password, then synced across your PC and phone as locked boxes — we only ever hold ciphertext, never your keys.
No card to start · Encrypted on your device · Unlock with PIN or fingerprintNettForge started as a simple, private vault. It grew into a full toolkit — for your everyday logins and for the routers, switches and firewalls IT teams live in. Here's what you get.
Your master password derives the key on your device. Everything is stored and synced as ciphertext only — we hold no keys and can never read your vault. By design, not by promise.
Add a login on your PC and it's on your phone seconds later. Item-level sync keeps everything in step — and because it's encrypted end-to-end, the server only ever sees locked boxes.
Open your vault with a quick PIN or your fingerprint / Face — set up per device, entirely on-device. Your master password always still works; the fast unlock is just for you.
Store your two-factor secrets right beside the login and NettForge generates the rolling 6-digit code for you. Scan the QR with your camera to add one in seconds.
First-class entries for routers, switches, OLTs, firewalls, UniFi, CCTV and PBX — with IP · SSH · RDP baked in. One click opens the portal or hands you the command. No other manager does this.
Optional, and unique to NettForge: switch on Live status and every saved site, portal and device shows a colour dot — green when it responds fast, red when it’s slow or down — re-checked every few minutes. Perfect for IT and ISP teams watching the things they run. It only ever contacts the hosts you saved.
A running health score that surfaces weak, reused, default-looking and expiring passwords — plus a Security Center that shows exactly how you're protected and logs every event.
More than passwords: bank & payment cards (masked, auto-detected), secure notes for anything private, and an identity that fills in sign-up forms. Your whole digital life, sealed.
Guided import from Chrome, 1Password, Bitwarden, LastPass, KeePass or a CSV — folders and 2FA come along for the ride. Export an encrypted .nettforge backup any time. Your data, portable.
Forge random passwords with the rules you choose, or a memorable passphrase you can actually type. Custom fields and full password history are one tap away on every entry.
NettForge Send lets you share a password or note with anyone — even people without an account. Send the link by WhatsApp, email or your phone’s share sheet. It carries its own key (we can never read it), expires, and deletes itself. NettForge even reminds you to change the password once you’ve shared it.
Name a trusted person who can recover your vault if something happens to you — after a waiting period you set, which you can cancel any time. Sealed with their key, so it stays zero-knowledge. Peace of mind, built in.
Pick any accent from a colour wheel, save your own, or switch on a gentle RGB glow that drifts through the spectrum. Colour-code your folders too. A world-class vault that looks the way you want it to.
NettForge asks one question up front — are you here for everyday life, IT & networks, or both? — then shapes itself around your answer. From there, almost everything bends to you.
This is the real NettForge interface — a fast, dark, focused vault. Here's what you'll be working in every day.
Your Security Score, a plain-language verdict and one-tap actions — with weak, reused and expiring passwords surfaced at a glance.
Memory-hard key derivation — Bitwarden-grade.
The app shows you exactly how your vault is protected — and logs every security event as it happens.
NettForge keeps your whole digital life in one encrypted place: website & app logins, bank & payment cards, secure notes for anything private, and an identity that autofills sign-ups. New here? It stays clean and simple. Run a network? The full IT toolkit is one tap away.
Most password managers only understand websites. NettForge is built for the people who run the network — with first-class entries for the gear you actually manage, IP · SSH · RDP details baked in, and a one-click Connect that opens the portal or hands you the command. It's why we built it for our own ISP first.
Start your free trial and open NettForge in your browser, then Install it on your PC and phone like a native app. No app store hoops, no telemetry phoning home.
This one password forges the encryption key on your device and unlocks your vault everywhere. There's no reset — that's the whole point of zero-knowledge — so we hand you a Recovery Kit to keep safe.
Import your old passwords, generate strong new ones, add your devices, and organise into colour-coded folders. It syncs to your other devices automatically and keeps itself up to date.
Your sync is zero-knowledge: the encryption happens on your device, so the server only ever holds locked boxes it cannot open. No NettForge staffer, no attacker who breaches the server, no subpoena can read your passwords — the keys simply aren't there.
The exact protections the app shows you live: memory-hard key derivation, authenticated encryption, and a zero-knowledge split where the login proof can never decrypt your vault. Conflict-safe sync means a wrong clock on one device can never overwrite or lose an edit.
Memory-hard key derivation — Bitwarden-grade.
NettForge is built and used by a working South-African ISP. The IT features exist because we needed them ourselves — routers, OLTs and firewalls, not just websites.
Priced in Rand, pay by card or debit order through a licensed gateway, and built with POPIA in mind. We never store your bank or card numbers — the gateway does that.
No dark patterns, no selling your data — there's nothing to sell. If you ever stop paying, your encrypted data is still yours and your backups still work. Access locks; your data never does.

Every item is encrypted on your device before it's sent, so the server only ever stores locked boxes it cannot open. Your other device pulls those boxes and unlocks them locally with your master password. We never see a readable password — syncing across devices doesn't change that one bit.
No — and it's not a matter of trust, it's architecture. Your master password never leaves your device, and your vault is only ever stored and synced as ciphertext. There's nothing readable on our servers for us to see, even if we wanted to.
The vault and core app are free forever. A subscription funds ongoing development and unlocks conveniences — cross-device sync, quick unlock, family vaults, and priority support. You're backing the project, not renting access to your own data.
Your encrypted data is always yours — nothing is ever deleted or held hostage. When your trial ends or a payment is missed, your account locks and you're asked to subscribe to keep going. Your encrypted vault and backups stay safe on your device the whole time — locking only affects access, never your data.
There is deliberately no reset — that's what makes the encryption meaningful. At sign-up we hand you a one-time Recovery Kit to store somewhere safe, and NettForge nudges you to keep encrypted backups. Between those two, you've always got a way back in.
You subscribe with a monthly debit order or card through a secure, licensed payment gateway. NettForge never stores your raw bank or card numbers — the gateway handles that and simply tells us the payment succeeded. You can cancel or change your method whenever you like.
Fourteen days free, no card to start. Your passwords, encrypted on your device and in sync across every screen — under your control.
